Wanna Be Green?
57"Green" Living!
There is so much hype today, more than ever before. Used to, people just lived their distinctives, now people are militant about them. I do not believe in global warming as is proposed today. I think it is the myth of the century. I do think that we can be conservationists. Here are my suggestions to living "Green"!
- Turn the light off when not using it.
- Flush toilet when needed.
- Separate trash and recycle.
- Do not joy ride... everyday!
- Mow the lawn when needed.
- Water lawn if only necessary.
- Fill gas in early morning or late evening.
- Take short showers and do not waste time.
- Wash full loads, not partials.
- Rake leaves and put them back in a wooded area if possible.
- Place litter in appropriate places.
- Avoid using chemicals as much as is possible.
- Use consumables up 100%.
- Take all scrap metal to metal recyclers.
- Find innovative way to use discarded tires, and other products that normally would be placed in landfill that can be safely used.
- Always look for better ways to be green.
I find that it is best to try and find advice on my own... unsolicited. Do not feel it is your place to force conservation down other people's throats!
